The Workshop Location
The Empowered Lens Workshop May 21st + 22nd, 2024 will be held among the fairies at the unique + magical Vaughan House in Forest, Virginia.
Each of the two workshop days will end in a 2.5 hour fully styled shoot (models + locals/sets styled) in which we can fully explore both the Greenhouse and the newly build Enchanted Cottage (see gallery of images below).
Every attendee will have the opportunity to shoot the greenhouse location and the enchanted cottage location.
Every aspect of the Enchanted Cottage (inside and out) will be like stepping inside of a fairytale and will be fully photography-ready. You only see renderings (drawings) of the cottage as it's currently being built (magic sometimes takes time), but will be ready to go for you Spring 2024.
Both the styled sets and models AND the curriculum of this workshop will be fully suited for child and family photographers, senior photographers and wedding/couples photographers.
The models will not be only children and teens as my past events have been -- there will be other inclusions such as women, a couple in love, non-traditional bride/couple, small family, mommy, and me.

Partial payment is $850 down at the time of booking and the remaining $850 on or by February 1st, 2024.
Who is this not for?
This workshop is not for hobbyists or those NO intention of starting a photography business. If you DO wish to start a business one day or are new, yes, you are welcome! I would have LOVED to attended this workshop then. Contact me as I'd be happy to help you see if you are a fit for this event.

Prior to the workshop, you will be invited to a pre-workshop private group where you will be given a list of lodging suggestions and local restaurants, as well as all important workshop preparations and details.

I am open to suggestions, but the plan is a mix of a few children and teens (seniors), mommy + me, a small family, a couple, and a non-traditional bride.
